Welcome to our page. We are Pomona Youth Prevention Council - PYPC.
We are youth united in keeping our community safe from the dangers of alcohol and other drugs.
Our purpose is to empower other youth to make positive choices for themselves,
to improve our community and to have fun while we do it.

     Pomona Youth Prevention Council (PYPC) is the Youth Action Council of Partnership for a Positive Pomona, a coalition of Pomona residents and community leaders working together to prevent substance abuse in the community. PYPC is made up of youth from across Pomona and carries out various campaigns and events through out the year to raise awareness around alcohol and other drugs, and to create environmental change so that it is easier for youth to live drug-free lives. 
    The Community Quinceañerx is part of PYPC's efforts to raise awareness around underage drinking in Pomona, promote youth empowerment, and propose solutions to community issues.
